Steps to setup a proper Zoom Link for a Traction5 Channel

  1. Create a recurring meeting in zoom. Make sure to disable the waiting room and the password to join unless you are planning to attend all sessions. You also need to allow participants to join at any time.
  2. Copy the link and description from these recurring meeting to an existing Traction5 Channel. Channels are available in your ****Profile / Setting screen, see the image below:

  1. Repeat steps #1 and #2 to set up additional Channels. A small program expecting under 15 sessions per month, one channel could be sufficient. For a larger program, we’d recommend setting up at least 2 channels.

Important notes:

  1. Channels cannot be deleted if there are actual current or past sessions that have used the channel.
  2. It is possible to update the channels. Note that for updates to be reflected on upcoming sessions, invites need to be resent.
  3. Make sure to create meetings should be created under different zoom accounts, so that they don’t compete for the same host.
